The MLA comes in three pieces and is ready for use in a couple of minutes. The MLA uses power from the aircraft or the medical interiors power outlet. It is designed to be easily stowed even in smaller aircrafts and no modifications to the aircraft or certification is required.
Currently the MLA is available for Lifeport Aerosled, Aeromedical Products and micus-aero stretchers as well as for transport incubator systems using the Lifeport Aerosled TD. Versions with interface for other stretcher systems are in development.
